The Riptide program has been around for years, and thus has extensive experience in creating and cultivating a winning team with a comfortable, family-based culture.
The Riptide program’s humble beginnings come from a time when we fell under the SAU16 Exeter, NH school district’s umbrella of sports program’s. Originally formed to create a higher level of tournament play than other teams in the district, some of which still exist.
Over the years Exeter Riptide developed into a premier softball organization, and ultimately broke away from SAU16 to become its own entity, and forge it’s own path within the league.
The newly formed New Hampshire Riptide team began to focus more on quality coaching, where players will learn better techniques and habits, better form, and more competitive plays and training. The program also fosters a family-style environment for it’s players, with multiple team-building events ranging from team meals, to bowling nights, to team parents even organizing gatherings at their homes, or going out while the girls have practice time. Above all, the players and parents will look out for one another, help each other, and strive to not only make the players better personally but as a team.
This culture and “all in” mentality has led to several tournament championship wins each season, and multiple State Championship showings and victories, while teaching respect and sportsmanship, simultaneously learning from losses and celebrating wins.
